True Love

Location

Time is our enemy now;

Stricken by fear and age we sink deeper into death,

As we balance on the brink of dispair.

We struggle for survival as we lay in our blood,

Scraps of metal bulging from our bodies.

Maybe limbless, too soon to tell;

Shock has taken the pain.

We clasp hands.

Laying with eyes closed but hearts open,

Passion of love pumping through our veins,

We find faith and hope from the soul.

True love keeps my pulse,

Yet, reality slips in

And we die hand in hand,

but our love never did.
