Triangle

I am no one's Juliet

For she did not try to kill two birds in one throw

Three hearts cannot fit into a duet

Of both their hearts, I must let go.

The almost and the accidental kiss

To two separate boys does one each belong

Whether it was me or Cupid-the arrow did not miss

From first impressions; glances in between; to the final word-it is all tainted-it is all wrong.

Neither one is my Romeo

Holding my breath; walking on egg shells; tugging at my heart strings-both have me deceived

Beauty; honesty; humility-three pretty lies as far as I know

Two hearts are now broken but which wasn't freed?

Empty beauty shall forever haunt your dreams

This curse I place on both, for both have hurt me.
