Trials and Ambition

I am nothing without trials

Noting without tribulation

Who would I be if I had it all easy?

Who would I be if I speant most of my time dreaming?

I would've lost myself a long time ago.

I am nothing without the scar on my chest

That says, "I am different"

If I didn't have it I'd be insignificant

I would've been replaced a long time ago.

I am nothing without my tribulations

Day in and day out crying to myself

Will you, you, or you, offer me help?

I cry everyday to myself because I believed I should've been dead a long time ago.

I am nothing without my ambition

I fit in a crowd of people below average

Below my standards, I thought I'd finally rise to the top like Lazarus

I feel so behind, feeling like I shouldv'e been successful a long time ago.

But who would I be without my trials?

But who would I be without my tribulation?

What need I to expect more from myself. Ha! I was terribly mistaken.

My trials and tribulations are what make me,

My ambition is what creates me.

I would be nothing without these.
