The trees stand in solemn repose,
even if they tried they could not touch their toes
If they had mouths they'd cry out in lunacy,
having to stay in maddening stagnancy,
And if the trees try to touch their toes,
they'll break their trunks in the name of damned repose
And if I try and touch my toes,
I'll break my spine for temptation's rose
As a tree I am mad but still,
As a tree fatal is free will.
