The Traveler

I’m a traveler.

The world is mine to explore

and I’m the world’s to intrigue.

A knock at Adventure’s door

will surely lead to proceed

to things that seem magic,

yet simple and pure,

to things that are lovely

and filled with grandeur.

There are landscapes to view,

to ponder in awe.

There are mountains to climb

and foods to eat raw.

There are buildings to appreciate,

grounds to hold dear.

There are stars in the sky

and rivers persevere.

Every place has something special -

something beautiful to present -

so in every place I’ll find joy,

'tis the traveler’s intent.
