TOXICITY (Acrostic)

To me, you were wonderful. Who knew you were really

Only poison flooding my veins? Like a

Xylophone melody that starts pretty, but only gets

Irritating and drives you insane after prolonged exposure.

Crazy how the thing that numbed the pain and made me smile

Is really a powerful drug slowly ruining my life,

Transforming me into someone else I swore never to be.

You changed me. Over and over. But now we’re done.
