In life, we will face ups and downs,

Sometimes we just want to smile,

But it’s blocked by too many frowns.

People will insult you to tears,

Put hurtful words right in your ears.

You might even feel like just giving up,

But boy do I have some news for you,

Some words and truths to really imbue.

Whatever life may throw your way,

Trust in the Lord and you will keep in perfect peace,

Trust in the Lord, our Rock eternal, as Isaiah would say.

Not always going to see it, but I will inform,

Life has a lot tricks,

But most in devil form.

In these ways, we will become dissatisfied,

Not because of the season,

Nor because everything has to be beautified,

But because everything happens for a reason!

We all have set ways on how to live our lives,

But the Lord has his plans,

And the ones who follow him, are the ones that strive.

I don’t know what you’re going through, nor will I ever,

But I know one thing is true, God is here to endure forever.

I can tell you that tough times will be tough,

And easy times will be easy,

But why not make both of them joyful,

Stick with our Lord God and stay out of the rough.
