Too many

Too many,

once at work now at rest.

Too many,

who gave what they have and what they do best.

Too many,

time of war and times of fear.

Too many,

losses of the things we held dear.

Too many,

lies told to cover small mistakes.

Too many,

people who gave up on ones fate.

Too many,

who've lost the value of family.

Too many,

that have priorities toward greed.

Too many,

have lost all they care for.

Too many,

times we've made fun of poor.

Too many,

lost the value of true friends

Too many,

who think love is material thing that always ends.

And to finish with what we've all forgot,

is how hard our ancestors worked to give what we've got.
