Graduation, throw my cap
On to college, won't look back

Focused mind, goal in sight
Hit books so hard they wanna fight

Late nights, little sleep
Got a GPA to keep

College costs soaring high
It’s a struggle to get by

Distraction from the final goal
Each semester digs a deeper hole

Lost hope, losing ground
Just trying not to drown

Reaching out, helping hand
Comes up empty, no mans land
