Title In Progress

I know your eyes aren't seeing like they used to see

And the track marks left circles round your heart

They say the sun must always set on beauty

Cause the rain always needs a place to start

But tell me when did kisses turn to thunderstorms

Did it come about naturally

Was it science or a fine tuned mess up

Or maybe just predictability

I knew you when your life shimmered laughter

And lemon drops were scattered on your floor

Now you say you need to find another

While you push our tooth-picked memories out the door

But tell me when did kisses turn to thunderstorms

Did it come about naturally

Was it science or a fine tuned mess up

Or maybe just predictability

And when the sun shines higher than a mountain top

And the world below is glowing and free

Will you still strike me down with a lightening shock

And tell me it's the only way to be

Will you still strike me down with a lightening shock

Or tell me that we're synchronicity
