when asked how far away something is

we answer with minutes instead of miles

when asked to share my voice

I answer in sentences instead of musical notes

so when asked what I want in life

I will answer in verbs instead of nouns

and when asked why I like to write

I'll respond in questions instead of answers

when asked to write poetry 

I'll write free verse instead of rhymes

and finally when faced with love

I'll answer in passion instead of words
