Tiny little flower

Pick me off the ground

for your lover.

Gather me in a bundle

behind you back.

Put me in a vase

so my beauty sticks around.

Give me attention

I know not how long I can be.

Tell me I’m unique,

I might not believe you.

Pick up my petals,

my love withers away:

Admire my last petal,

you snatched my only hope.

Throw me away,

I'm no longer needed.

All beautiful things must come to end,

this tiny little flower dead.

Doomed from the beginning,

I should have known, this tiny little flower dead.
