Time to step up

I got a job and faced the real world
I started with food prep then hosted the front
It was difficult at first but I soon caught on
The worst part was dealing with people who don't work at all

Time to step up
My mind yells loud and clear

I faced the real world
one thought in my mind
I had to step up to keep things alright
Things were fast, but sometimes slow
My life had changed, I wasn't working alone

Time to step up
My mind yells loud and clear

The more I faced alone the harder it got
I realized in life you cannot work with just one
Sure it's common sense
most should know
But an outcast like me mostly never realied on anyone

Time to step up
My mind yells loud and clear
Life is hard so do it with your peers
