Time Loss

At the time,

I was in an odd place

mentally.

I vaguely remember getting high

  with a close friend.

I closed my eyes for five minutes,

and then we were walking down Kinsrow.

I blinked,

and then I was staring at my feet

inside a small convenience store.

Laughing with him on my kitchen floor

made me forget about the

  throbbing suicidal depression.

A weird place, indeed.
