Time Keeps Slipping

Location

Time keeps slipping.

Like the sun slipping over the sky

Years will pass, people grow older

As life begins and ends…

Time keeps slipping.

Young children grow and change

Molded by their parents, like their parents before them

As the cycle of life turns…

A young man, born and raised

His whole life spent with the family he loves,

But he steps out into the open world

Ready to begin his own life…

The young man, on his own path

He’ll meet new people and discover new things

Before he settles down with a family all his own

To begin the cycle yet again…

Time keeps slipping.

Boys and girls on the playground

Grow up to be mothers and fathers

And create a future for us all…

Time keeps slipping.

As time is not allowed to wait

Our fates are tied to an endless stream

As Time keeps slipping… slipping away…
