Time Change
Time is Change But in for some strange reason Humans, measure it by consistency The clock ticks, A snowflake falls, Another tick, A flower bud is born and spring calls “It’s all good,” they say. But wait, hold the rails! Big bad Global Warming draws ever near Melting ice caps, blasphemous waves upsetting the sails from the rains some humans choose sit and wait, sitting mighty high, ignoring those who run in fear as the flood levels rise. “Change!” some shout, “Hail!” Haha, a change in time that they thought was fine Perhaps change is alright after all, however we must not dismiss That when time not measured in line Nor in circles neither squares Leaves us stumbling in murky shadow Unable to see, and too dark to hear our nightmares We droop our heads only hearing “Cuidado!”
