Less than one-hundred dials

more than two-hundred miles

the simplicity of life is caught up in styles

and sometimes I wonder

where in this life I am filed

cause innocence can simply be sent out to exile

Five-hundred degrees of pain and distress

from people who scream

and balance plates on their breasts

Who understands the elements of heart

when they didn't know a beat right then from the start

can lovers be faithful with two days apart

I try not to trust what soon may depart

A soul whos at rest

this makes emotions stick

who knows whats the best when dicisions are quick

lay mellow one fellow

he's dying and sick

our eyes are wide open but the clock doesn't tick
