Thunderstorm

a sillhouetted sun rests behind the smoke

smoke bombs explode in the sky
followed by the flashing lights

the night howls under a murky moon

all across the land the clouds are strewn

the earths soil bathes under the blackened clouds

the sun cowers beyond darkened shrouds

the sky's tears fall slowly to the floor

the plants are dancing begging for more

water journeys through the soil

sounds of the sky echoing turmoil

godly speed descending the skies

striking a tree and it slowly dies

an echoing boom in a melodic ansamble

colliding the ground with only a preamble

the tree has died on a stormy night

the clouds eventually depart

and the sun shines bright
