A thousand times over

For you, a thousand times I'd run, Through shadows cast beneath the sun. I'd chase the kites that danced so high, To bring them back, to see you smile.

For you, a thousand walls I'd climb, Defying distance, conquering time. Each step, a vow, each breath, a plea, To lift your dreams and, set them free.

For you, a thousand stars I'd chase, To light the dark, to fill the space. The thread of fate, like kites, unspooled, I'd hold it tight, though winds be crueled.

For you, a thousand life times more, I'd guide your heart, I'd fight your war. This soul is bound, it cannot severe, For you, my love, a thousand times over.
