Thoughts

The thoughts we all have
Like a birds view in the sky
Flying around until the day we die

These thoughts although are quite contrary
Half of them are like finding a berry
In an apple tree
Rare...yet possible if ends want to meet
Thoughts are gifts to those that think

Thoughts come with power
Don't let it control you
For you are the one to
Roam your mind as you please

The hills and valleys wind through the fields
Each turn unknown as what lay ahead
Your thoughts will scare you
"That lion is next"
Only to find a pigeon nesting

For what I have said
I leave you with this
Toss out that berry
Put your mind to rest
