Those Days

Those Days when blacks weren't allowed anywhere
Those Days when they were beaten by many purely bare
Those days when education for blacks were thrown out the roof
Even when they wanted to achieve greatness in order to be living proof

Those Days long ago before our generation's time
Those Days where the civil rights caused most of the crime
Those days when Martin Luther King marched and preached freedom and equality
Those Days when no one cared about the childhood and family poverty

Those Days when everyone knew they had a dream to be united no matter race
Those Days where you saw the police brutality and the smell of blacks being maced
When will we get away from those days, when nothing matters but the person you are on the inside
Those Days, Those Days, where the world still hasn't gotten away from pride
Those Days, Oh Those Days....
