The Third Eye

I take a glance outside into mother nature's creation

The trees breathe around us

Their chlorophyll pumping through

And the leaves swaying in the wind

The grass surrounds all of us

Their blades dancing with the breeze

And they brush through the Earth

The clouds hover above us

Their mist flows upwards and in

And they morph ever so slightly

Oh, how the world around is alive

Breathing, surrounding, hovering

As if it were trying to talk to us

Begging us to remember our primal roots

Our senses: ears, eyes, nose, skin, and mouth

Taking in what she has to offer

All of this, yes all of this

Just in my and even your own backyard

Oh what wonder and excitement

That nature can bring to our lives

If we just learned to apperciate what's around
