An existence swallowed by time,

YOU failed to protect the believer.

She relinquished everything for YOUR words.

Sacrificing her life to spread YOUR message.

Where were YOU?

 

While the cancer engulfed her body,

YOU were nowhere to be found.

A woman so wise, compassionate, and devoted,

YOU pained her immensely with YOUR “tests of faith.”

Did YOU even care?

 

She followed YOUR every word,

She trusted YOU to her core.

Longing to be in YOUR graces.

Her only request,

to be alongside YOU?

 

As the cancer consumed her life,

sadness and desperation claimed my mind,

watching her suffer the excruciating pain.

She prayed, and searched for YOUR arms.

Did YOU seek her out?

 

YOU gave her so much,

Only to rip it out from under her feet.

She lived a miserable life all the while continued to praise.

She died, in agony, sadness, and desperation,

how am I supposed to believe in YOU after that?
