They Don't Have To Know

I'm too scared of writing diaries
Of being honest with my feelings
For not everyone have to know
Where my heart lies,
Where i go when i need solitude,
Of my fears and insecurities,
Or the tragedies
That weave into my form
They don't have to know
How i like my coffee
Or the odour of the beach
Or perhaps, the rain in winters
They don't have to know
So i hide it under my sleeve
In the curves of my smile,
The dangling pieces of clothing
Or the reckless thread of words
That they call poems

This poem is about:
Me
