These Moments are Ours

When we've wandered so far that our own words can't even save us,
Our thoughts don't do us justice, over thinkings got our minds crushed,
Questioning the future, wondering why we live for the rush,
Doubting our own potential, in Fate, is where we lay our trust,
Mislead by the wrong thoughts, misguided by swirvy roads,
Losing it through the ups and downs, confused which way to go,
The weight of the world on our shoulders, just load after load,
Pushed to reach perfection, when our true selves we barely know,
What shaped us into who we are, What brought us to right here?
What made us think the way we do, What gave us all these fears?
These questions are always in our minds, but the answers are never clear,
But have you ever slowed down to realize, We, ourselves, must make them appear?
We never take action, yet we expect our lives to change.
We just wait and wait, and waste our precious days away,
We take these moments for granted, failing to appreciate,
When it's gone and too late, we realize our lifes just been a haze,
When we lose track of importance, we lose track of who we are,
Feeling vulnerable to everything and giving up when life gets hard,
We don't long for what we want because we invision it to far,
And the thought of losing happiness makes us keep our hearts on guard,
But experience is the sole of making life just what it is,
So, Forget about your doubts and forget what anybody says,
These moments are ours to make into happiness and bliss,
Never lose faith in the fact that there's a reason for all this,
It gets hard to handle and sometimes life can be deceiving,
But we're all blessed with hope to helps us keep on keeping,
Yes, this life is crazy, hazy, and misleading,
But, We all have a purpose for our hearts beating.
