There I'll Be

Location

There I'll be

Face to face with the Mona Lisa

I'll see the lasting lines of paintbrushes

Whose silky strands created an eternal beauty

There I'll be

Soaking in The Starry Night

I'll see the short, sweet lines

That create a sky that lasts centuries

There I'll be

Watching the Water Lilies of Monet

Coast with a gentle grace

Down a stream of mixed seduction

There I'll be

Keeping the canvases of history in tact

I'll be giving my life to keep the perfect brilliance

Of a coy woman's smile,

A breathtaking night,

And a dance of water lilies

Shining for generations to come.

There I'll be

A Conservation Artist
