That's Not Me

Location

All my life I wanted to be something special

A princess, a cowgirl, a rockstar, and the President of the United States

I wanted my voice to be heard

I wanted my face to be seen

I wanted my thoughts to be spoken

I wanted to be the girl everybody liked...

Now I am living my life

Being what everybody thinks I am

A whore, a liar, a cheater, and slut

My voice doesn't go above a whisper

I hide my face so nobody sees

I keep my thoughts in my head because no one will listen

I am the girl that everybody hates

That's not me

I am kind, loving, and carefree

My ideas flourish and carry me far

I don't brag about my face or my beauty

That's me

I am me and I wouldn't change that for the world
