tell them
Diffused shadows of tree limbs
Tremble and shimmer
Like a body dancing
On antique-white sunlight shades
A harmonious rhythm-
moving me into morning.
And then,
outside,
As the grass quivers
Sparkles of lavender waft
In haunting winds-
Don’t forget-
flowers fade,
gardens overgrow.
Tell them
you love them deeply,
Like an artesian well
that swells overtime.
