Tears! To the Tongue That Lied

As it blurs my vision, I close my eyes. They roll down my cheeks as if they were waterfalls. I try to stop them but, the more I think about the tongue that lied, a wave of tears flow out from. Why won't they stop? Promises were broken like shattered glass. It cuts me so deep that I'm wounded but, there's no blood.
