Tears

I've been through so much,

Now, nothing can hurt me by touch,

I felt my tears,

Later, cleaning my makeup smears.

I've had a past,

It seemed to go by fast,

My parents abandoned me,

I'm adopted, which is better to see.

Sometimes I miss my mother,

But, now I have another.

One I trust and love,

She tries to lead me to the place above.

I escaped my past abuse,

Made our personalities recluse.

I'm glad to have escaped,

I used to feel unshaped.

I have a new beginning,

I no longer have to suffer my parents sinning.
