A high five or a simple "good job"
The kids give me a smile as big as a corn on the cob
In my first grade class never a dull moment
Mrs.Biggins tells me "you sure know how to own it"

The stories they tell one could never guess
The smallest one says he has hair on his chest
I get cute drawings from all the kids
Someone tells me that it was from Liz

I wish I could see them go through school
but I know good and well that it's against the rules
The good-bye is always the hardest part
but I know that they will stay in my heart
