I think that scars and tattoos are much alike

they are both permanent and hard to completely hide

but yet we do it anyways and hide them from staring eyes

on your skin they stay forever

they will leave you never

they fade away over time but always still there

on your mind

but above all they tell a story

some people are walking books not because they want to be this way

but how society made them to be
