The Tallest Tree on the Tallest Hill
I want to reach up and touch the tip
Of the tallest tree on the tallest hill
And maybe then I'll get a look
At all the world and have my fill
Of forests and mountains
Of lakes and streams
Of deserts and valleys
Of land's ripped seams
My eyes will drink the ocean
And I'll inhale the sweet air
If only I could reach that height
I know what I'd find there.
