Take Caution

Hide yourself away at night

And keep your windows shut,

For if the toads should start to bite

You’ll melt into a muck.

Always keep a night-light on,

And always close the door,

Or in the morning you’ll be gone

With goo-splat on the floor.

Listen for the little croaks

As closer they come,

If you should see the warty cloaks

You’ll know it’s time to run.
