Sweet Angel

Friend,

I was so shocked when I heard of your fate.

How could something so bad happen to someone so great?

I shed many tears and hugged many friends.

I tried to reason why your life had reached its end.

Then I remembered your bright smiling face,

And the happiness you brought with each warm embrace.

I realized God just couldn't wait,

To meet you at the pearly white gate.

He decided He couldn't wait one more minute.

He needed Heaven to have you in it.

He took you from us to show His mighty power,

His testimony through you in your final hour.

We're all so sad you're no longer with us.

But you're better off, up there with Jesus.

I'm not glad that you're gone, but I'm glad that you lived.

You were an awesome Christian, girl, and best friend.

So go find our friends who have gone on before you.

Have fun with them, they have missed you too.

We will celebrate your life down here on Earth.

We'll be thankful God let us see your worth.

I will never forget all you have done for me.

I can't wait to see you again and live forever happily.
