Swallowing the Moon

Sat, 02/07/2015 - 22:07 -- JJPoet

Slow melody reminds me

Of the soft blackness

Caressing my cheek

Silence also describes

The unusual feeling

Still, already full

The dark abyss

Falls endlessly

Holding all but

Showing nothing

Leaving traces of

Sinister thoughts

Footprints of the

Unknown is daunting

As always

But don’t be

Don’t be weakened

By the ominous feel

Have a slice of hope

Piece of light to lead you

Because however dark

There is always light

Because however dark

There are always handsome colors

Which make the blackness

There is always one thing

You know that deserves the gold

Like how I am with my poem

Me
