heal the wounded

but doom the healthy

are more than stitches and seams

for injuries

seems they can be for hearts too

Sew your heart to mine

and my heart's just a tumor to you

your's too heavy for me

weary eyes wake in a white room

the IV still in your vein

as you lay drained

The wrsitband on your arm

Looks like they removed the tumor

I love you

I love you

I love you

shouted siliently across the room

from a bloody and battered heart

Why can't you be the tumor

And why can I never rip the sutures

without ripping my own flesh apart

I'm sick of the needle and thread
