Susanna

My lovely, your smile is the light of my fire

Your eyes, dark and shy, twinkle in the night sky

When you smile, I can't help but to stop and stare for a while

As if ever a sound so pleasing as your laugh could take me any higher

You are not the first to capture my heart and mind

Yet I am left to enquire, how I have never met someone like you before

A simple kiss from your blissful lips leaves me hypnotized

Still, be there no doubt you are at war

Years past live inside you like an eternal flame

With each passing day, the fight nears its end

Although it may be hard, you should not feel ashamed

Because with me by your side all your pains will amend

Our journey does not end here, young yet sincere

Together forever, hopefully our love will preserve.
