She has eyes that see the future

But she knows if she looks on

She will see the roads to trouble

And feel her worry gone

 

Arrogant and clumsy

She’ll take the bumpy ride

For she sees the end is made

Yet she forgets I’m by her side
 

She’ll foresee the pitfalls

And for that will bravely jump

She knows when she hits bottom

That she’s yet to rise out of her slump

 

But I stumble alongside her

Alone and without a clue

No solutions to my problems

Without her to work it through

 

So for that she shuts her eyes

And braces for the worst

My hand in hers, our journey starts

And take on life headfirst
