Superficial Things.

Thu, 01/04/2018 - 22:32 -- Saboker

You have a little melanin, you're not welcome.

The scarf on your head and your loose clothes says you support terrorism,

go back to where you came from.

Sorry, that job you can’t get was not because you were under qualified but because you are a women.

You need to be light-skinned to be considered beautiful, or you need to be skinny to be confident.

“O’ my gosh, pull out the camera to record this guy dying, forget 911”.

We don’t speak the same language? Nah your not human unless you come from where I come from.

Inhuman, insane, that we all need to be the same in order to be embraced, protected, and welcomed.

Ask why... and the answer is ignorance.

The same system of oppression.

Lack of education,

Knowledge in the tips of our fingers and all we want to know is what who wore what and who got the Oscar nomination.

As devastation hits our nation

As we look for the newest trend in fashion or a challenge that can get you famous.

It is sad that we will live and die in this world thinking about superficial things

And hoping to gain the love of people rather than the love of our creator.

But shoutout to all the haters, right?
