Sunset Eyes

She dreamt of his sunset eyes,

his their blue and starlit skies.

He dreamt of the past's pale roses,

her fair yet seductive poses,

Together,

Apart,

Past,

Future.

She dreamt of him,

he never gave her a dream,

a glance.

His sunset eyes were someone else's view,

Lady Past and Lady Heartbreak too.
