Sunlight
It’s really quite incredible, the way the rain can change
It can be warm and sunny but then its bleak and grey
First you’re dancing and laughter splits your face
As you run and splash in puddles that happen on your way
But then you’re standing huddled as the sudden chill takes hold
And your clothes that drip with water are freezing to your bones
The sun that warmed the earth is driven from your sight
And all that’s left to see are rainclouds: frightful in their might.
