Sunlight
Golden fairies dancing in stardust,
Sprinkling shining sparkles on all the hidden leaves,
Dance upon my skin and yours,
In harmonious melody.
Glittering gold in silken waves, spreading over fields,
A brilliant cloth of lightest weave, wrapping all in warmth,
The sparkling silk of summertime,
Melting my heart and yours.
The burning fire of heaven,
Searing down through torn blue clouds,
Beats upon the lives below,
And binds my soul to yours.

This poem is a great example of how poetry can appeal to all of our senses, even though it is just written words. The essence of gold and bright light throughout the poem made me see the surroundings you were describing, and made me feel as if I was "wrapped in warmth" like your poem says.
