I'm in the valley of despair;
broken hearts are everywhere.
Shattered, torn, and ripped apart,
they are victims of Cupid's dart.

His arrow is used for true love,
but these helpless souls, he tortured and laughed,
'till the love was gone, it had been totally disposed of.

Once he was done, he threw the hearts in here,
left to be mended by the owners saddened tears.

There's all different ones,
some big, some small.
Some were just cracked,
others were shattered and all.

It takes time to rebuild those,
especially with pieces lost.
But, sometimes it's better to not find them all,
it reminds you of the pain it has cost.

Never become too attached,
unless you know the feeling is true.
You don't know what could happen;
the next heart to land in here could belong to you.
