Summer's Joy

Kites that soar on a playful breeze,
Laughter echoed through the trees. Splashing in lakes, a joyful spree,
Summer’s playground, wild and free.
Barbecues and firefly nights,
Camping under starlit lights.
Cannonballs into the pool,
Every day a different rule.
Picnics spread on checkered cloth,
Barefoot races, running off.
From dawn till dusk, the fun won't end, Summer’s joy, a lifelong friend.
