Summer's Embrace

The sun hangs high in a cobalt sky, Whispering warmth as breezes sigh.
Golden rays dance on emerald leaves,
A symphony of light that never grieves.
Grass beneath my toes, a velvet sheen, Blades of green in a timeless scene.
The air is sweet with blooming flowers,
A perfume of June’s tender hours.
Days stretch long in a lazy haze,
Sun-kissed dreams in a brilliant blaze.
Time slows down, a gentle glide,
In summer’s embrace, we gently bide.
