Stuck in the rain

Soft sweet sound of the rain
Echos in my heart full of pain
The cold sharp wind slashes at my face
Dealing multple blows at a fast pace.
Trees sway violently as if they are trying to attack.
Looking more and more viscious in the pitch black.
Walking with the purpose of escaping my head
Now troubled at the fact i may end up dead.
Animals taking shelter near by
Avoiding the fury of the sky.
Troubled thoughts wonder how it feels to die
To hurt no more and be able to fly.
Quickly dismissed by the thunders rage
Maybe my mind is hell... my permanent mental cage.
Trapped in downward feelings
Just trying to feel things
My joy is gone like the sun
Blocked by darkness the most violent one.
Every smile melts away at the moment of loneliness
There has to be more to life and not just only this.
Crying on my knees admist the rain
I cry to the father to remove my pain.
Lightning strikes loud as if to say
On your feet child and be on your way.
Keep fighting now soldier and soon you'll see
Everything has a purpose so trust in me.
