strangers

and now we're strangers

strangers that knew

eachothers' secrets

we were familiar with

eachother's touch

used to eachother's scent

what was once

so unbreakable

was torn into pieces

and scattered all

over the ground

and neither of us

were bothered with

picking up those pieces

and mending what

once seemed

so unbreakable.
