Story of A Broken Soul

Location

I’m

I’m lost in myself

A train ride from help

A distance worth taking

There’s no escaping

I’m, lost in myself

Why?

Why is it like I’m not here?

A shadow to my peers

In these halls full of talking

I’m just here walking

And constantly, hating myself

I walk down the road, alone

And enter a dark, gloomy room

I think to myself, the path I will choose

Looking down, I see the streets of fire

Red drips from limbs, of those undesired

Fall to the floor, not a tear shed

My thoughts subside, I hope for the end

And…

My savior enters the room,

In a soft green robe

Looks me in the eyes,

And shows me the road

I watched the sun shine down where I had just wandered

Light emitted from darkness and I pondered,

Why should I leave this beautiful world we live in?

Free from myself I saw life is worth living
