Stored on the surface

Ecclesiastes 2:2

I said of partying, “It is folly,”
and of self-indulgent pleasure, “It accomplishes nothing!”

Surface

As I dig down deeper ... for what is stored on the surface?

Is it not that part of life ... I don’t want others to see?

The farther I go down ... the more I’m hauling up.

I am really quite a catch ... as others let me be.

I want to be unique ... possibly to be admired

swimming in a pool of sin with lots of folk like me.

The substance is so thick ... that it takes little effort

as I almost can walk on it ... in celebration with the “free”.

I can do what I want ... I love everybody

myself a little more ... well to be understood.

If I can’t love myself ... how can I love others?

Let me live by my wants ... it will be for your good.
